When questioned regarding her decision to hold the parked position when THE SURFER improved forward three wide approaching the 1200m Ms Chilcott stated that this was the gelding's normal racing pattern and felt it was her best option to hold the parked position rather than risk being shuffled back in the running. Stewards noted her comments.
